We have small families but a decent number of friends. We also send to some of our parents' friends.
We mailed out 50 and have gotten 5 in return. To be fair, the majority of our friends don't have kids and don't send cards at all.

I send most of my cards to friends. I send to close family not extended family

How many cards?
ordered 115 and sent/handed out about 112. that includes three-four cards for my hair girl etc that i give xmas gifts to.

Large extended families- small immediate families, but many cousins which all now have their own families

Around 100.
It's friends but a lot of family, too. I do have a big family, but it a lot of extended family. Especially some of the older cousins who we don't see often. They love seeing the pictures of the kids. I always want to reduce, but it never works - it just keeps growing!!

Order 60, send out 52-54. Most go out to family.
We receive less than 20.

We also have a small family but a lot of friends. We sent out 75 and probably got around 30. Many of our friends don't do cards and that is fine. I still send to them because they are our friends. We also give cards to teachers, DH's partners and colleagues. Most of them have adult children and don't do the photo cards either. Or they are Jewish and don't send xmas cards. We still include them on our card list.

Ordered 75. Sent out almost all of them.
Big extended family. Lots of friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc.
Got back just over 30. We send to lots of families either without kids or who have grown kids.

I had MAJOR issues with TinyPrints this year, they have been a nightmare!! My cards just finally got mailed out this morning. Ordered 75 and mailed 62. Rest get handed out to teachers, coworkers etc.
OMG ME TOO!!! I was SOOOO pissed! Mine were supposed to come an entire week ago and just came yesterday night! And, I paid rush two day shipping of $30 to boot. I called SO MANY TIMES. The customer service was completely incompetent! I have ordered from them for years but will NEVER order from tinyprints again!
Ordered 70 and all are accounted for - next year I will order more!
A friend of mine got cards that weren't hers from TinyPrints this year - but, the weirder part was that they were two different people's cards.
I ordered 140 and sent/handed out around 130.
