What a great idea for a thread!
I teach 6th graders with autism. This week one of my students has repeated apple 3 times, banana 1 time and mama 1 time. These are her first words ever spoken.

Koh'ls took back 3 bras I washed & wore. I got re-sized & realized they were all the wrong size for me. No questions asked, no receipt, no problem. It made my day.

My 14 month old finally got to eat baby food today! I've given her tastes of apple, watermelon, and clementine before but today she finally got the ok from her speech therapist to try purées and actually eat rather than taste! We've been waiting so long for this moment!!

i love reading these... especially the ones about children/babies.
my positive post is that EVERYTHING has been done before we get up and go camping this weekend. the house is clean, the laundry is done, the bills are paid, the food is cooked. after tonight's packing, i can rest and enjoy the holiday knowing that i don't have to come home to solve a problem.

Last Sunday DS scored 2 goals on his last soccer game of the season. It was his goal to score one since the beginning of the season, and his dream came true -in a double way- last Sunday. It was so exciting, specially because he has been in this league for the last 3 years, and it was the first time he was able to score
