Tonight at my in-laws:
DD: Hi Grandma, I have to tell you something. I know the magic words. MIL: Oh yeah, what are they? DD: Can I come see your bed?

More conversations with a toddler....
We were at my uncles house in the pool and he was on a big tube with my cousin Christina and they took my son on it. My uncles weight was too much and popped the tube by the seam. All I have heard since Sunday:
"Mommy, uncle Marco broke the boat! He broke the seam. He's fresh! He did bad. He said it was Christina but uncle Marco broke it!"
Now whenever I yell at him he yells back and uses my first name!
He just does not stop talking. After we drive home from somewhere the whole car ride home he recaps what we did and who we saw.
He also acts as my personal narrator. Tells me what I'm doing as I do it. "Mommy you're making sauce. Mommy you're using the blender. Mommy you're stirring it. Mommy you're using the microwave."

My son uses English phrases because of that damn pig lol. "Mommy can I have a go?" "Mommy look bubble mixture!"
If he starts saying clever clogs I'm done

my 3 yr old dd is wise beyond her years and is an old soul lol She def has some funny ones but just recently
she asked older dd if she was Christian.lmao
and the other night she asked me Mama are you fixing brother a bath? Like what 3 yr old uses the work fixing? lol I would expect giving not fixing. She gets this soutehrn drawl and talks hysterically say Ip-ad with a southern accent and thats her lol
She tells us she has golden hair and she talks just to talk all day long lol
I read this and immediately thought of this old story I saw on TV a few years ago - made me think of toddlers who hold onto memories of past lives..

MY DD does this too! She calls bowling skittles and asks if we are going to get Petrol when we stop for gas.
