Party woes need help
So, having no luck with finding a private party room with any of the lodges for less than $600. :(
Does anyone know of any Italian restaurants in Nassau that do in-house catering for less than $20per person? Preferably South Shore but open to suggestions. Thanks!

As someone looking in the same area, I don't think you'll have any luck. The cheapest I've found is around $28.
I did call Maier's Brick Cafe in Lynbrook and they quoted me $19.95 per person though soda/beer/wine is extra. The person I spoke to was a little all over the place though so I'm skeptical. I'd call and confirm. And also confirm what it includes.
ETA: Also, I don't think the party room is all that spectacular. 
ETAA: Did you try calling the Fireman's Hall in East Rockaway? Maybe you'll have better luck than me. I've been calling and getting no answer and no call back. But they might be cheaper. It's called Gregory Hall.

There was a place that LIWeddings 2013 bridal shower was at that was 18.95 i i think? Anyone remember ? maybe higher now....
Pretty sure it was in Seaford and on a major road. was italian food.
You can try nocellos in northport they are reasonable but north shore

You can do Vincent's family take out meals. I've feed a family of 20 off two of their take outs. They give you a ton of food for not that much money.

I found a pretty good room today in Wantagh $475.00. The only downside is I heard they don't allow alcohol brought in. For me it didn't matter but I kno to some it will. Let me kno if u want info.

Party woes need help
The most inexpensive I've called was Sergio's in Massapequa, but I've never been there. I think they were around $20 or less. I think Davenport Press in Mineola and Elisa's in Bellmore also have some good packages and I've heard Piccolo in Bellmore.
For rooms, does anyone in your family live in a condo or apartment with a community room? The only cheap room I can think of - I recall reading about the Yes we Can community center in westbury/new cassel.

Did you try the Vulcan Firehouse in Lynbrook? They have a good size room and I believe it is $500 for the rental. Comes with unlimited ice, full use of their soda gun, oven for reheating food, tables and chairs.
I have had many parties there. They are so easy to work with and always have one guy onsite the day of your party in case you need anything.

It's not Italian food but MacArthur Park in RVC does a lunch buffet for $23.95, that's the cheapest I found in the area.

the VFW in Levittown is $800 for up to 80 people for their room but it includes beer, soda, wine, bartender and matrie d they clean up for you afterwards.
I know its more than $600 but good chances are you would have spent $200 in beverages.

Less than $20pp is going to be tricky. Try Pompei in West Hempstead. If you're willing to go beyond Italian, there are def other places.
