Towns on the south shore that have Main Street near the water?
Are there any towns on the south shore similar to Northport (for example)...where you can walk by the water?
What about parks where you can park near the water?

Towns on the south shore that have Main Street near the water?
Sayville is IMO the closest you will get to Northport on the south shore but their village area isn't right on the water like Northport.

Babylon. Literally just south of Northport and has a very cute town/main street.

Not south shore but riverhead main st boardwalk right along the peconic river

I think west hampton beach has a cute main street close to the water.
