What are you doing
I ran this morning. 7 miles and it was brutal. But I had to get training runs in. Then I'm staying inside until 3 when we have a 1 year old bday party.

I just glamced at my phone and the weather app says it's 85 already.
The heat doesn't bother me at all. I worked from home yesterday and sat outside all day in it on my laptop. I don't feel it at all. They talk about heat advisories, heat indexes etc and I am like...it's not that hot. 
But we'll probably hang by the pool today. ..since that's what I usually do in thr summer when I have no other plans.
Beach tomorrow.

Nothing. I'm laying on my couch. I have one day left of summer school before vacation so I may try to get in some last minute prep for Septemeber but otherwise it is me my couch and my dogs.

Costco and cleaning this morning inside. DH wants to go outside and cut the grass I told him he's nuts. I'll likely be indoors until dinner

We have an outdoor party... I'm not looking forward to it. I'm going to stay inside with my 4 month old.

I was out late last night so I'm feeling slow today. Went to the gym already this morning and now staying home the rest of the day to pack for my trip tomorrow and relax.

Vet this morning for one of my cats.
Cleaning the house a bit today.
Gym.
Maybe groceries...today or tomorrow, doesn't really matter what day I go for that.

Packing and Cleaning, next weekend we're loading the pod so we're getting it all done this weekend
Going to the vet shortly
Then sitting on the couch with a big glass of wine and binge watching netflix

So I cleaned and went to the gym, and when I got home my neighbors next door had the hydrant open with a sprinkler cap.
I just spent the past few hours in and out of that, plus getting soaked with buckets of water from their kids.
It was glorious.

What are you doing
We went to Cupsogue. Was crowded but not crazy and we had a great time.
Now I'll be up all night paying for the nap DS took (he hasn't napped it like two years, slept for almost 3 hours).

In the morning I went to the outlets to finish up back to school shopping for my girls and it was so hot. My car temp was reading 101 and even with the ac blasting I was sticking to the leather seats. Yuck..fall where are you?

What are you doing
Yesterday we had to go shopping to get some last minute things my SS needs for college (he leaves next Saturday!); then went to Costo to get stuff for BBQ we are having today (although we may eat inside); then some time in the pool and last night we went to dinner at a nice restaurant as a "good bye" dinner for my SS.
Today my brother and his family are coming over for a BBQ - I'm sure the kids will be in the pool. We have a covered patio, so we can sit under that and not be in the hot sun. Will make a last minute decision to see if we eat inside or out.
Did anyone see the heat lightening last night? It was like nothing I've ever seen before. It was really amazing. I sat outside just watching the sky - I was so fascinated by it.

There is no such thing as heat lightning, per a meteorologist friend of mine. It was a storm over Connecticut that you were seeing.
