anyone else crossing their fingers....
that something big comes out about either trump or clinton and they are forced to drop out and we get a better candidate on either side 
i cant bring myself to vote for clinton for various reasons that arent worth discussing since im in the minority here. i feel like i have to vote for trump to block clinton.
i just wish one of them would drop out and we had another choice that a majority would vote for!!!!!
i still cant believe that out of all the people in the united states, these are the 2 people we have to choose from lol

There is a new third party candidate, Evan McMullin, who is a Republican. I saw him interviewed and I found him likeable. I especially appreciated his stance on gay marriage as he said he does not agree with it personally (he is a Mormon) but won't do anything as the law in on the books. I always respect people like that who don't hold with something personally but don't impose their views on others.
That said, I don't know how much traction he'll get, and in some states he may not be able to get on the ballot.

I didn't even think this was a possibility but yes that would be ideal. Not trying to stir the pot but what else could come out about Clinton that could possibly get her kicked off the ballot if nothing thus far has?!?

Good question- let's face it, people have been trying to pin stuff on her since she was First Lady and nothing has stuck. Maybe it's because there's nothing there? She is in no way squeaky clean but no politician is. I really have to wonder if anyone else (especially a man) had been in her position and had done what she did (allegedly and otherwise.)

Anyone I've spoken to about why they hate Hillary either can't give a reason or their reason is based on some falsehood that has been debunked. Even my DH who says he doesn't trust her... When I ask why, he says he has no idea. Basically his reasoning is that he hears others say that she's untrustworthy (but also can't explain why) so it must be true. Luckily he's redeemed himself in my eyes bc he hates trump far more than Hillary.

I think sometimes he has to shut his mouth in public, but like his plans.I feel they are strong, and better suit my needs and my husbands business. I hope he follows through with them. I think Hillary will just be another 4 more years of Obama. I also have many reasons why I dont like her. To me Benghazi and her emails ARE a big deal. But the list goes on and on....

Ive given up hope of that and am just hoping Gary Johnson's campaign picks up steam but it would have to ramp up super quickly as the clock is ticking...

Ok, but really - where does that get us? I am truly looking for a mature discussion. Someone who supports Trump that can say, " well, his plan to do X sounds great to me; I like his stance on Y. . . etc" I mean it. I know you feel strongly about your support form him and I respect that you have the right to do that, but until you can point out your reasons, I can't respect your view point, because I don't know what it is. (And no, you don't HAVE to justify WHY you support him - no one does. BUT, if you want people to understand you, then a rational discussion of ideas is the only way to get there.)

Trump has absolutely no real plans! That is why people on here, and elsewhere for that fact, can't give you reasons. I am very conservative, and so is most of my family , and we are not voting for Trump. IRL I know very few Republicans who will be voting for him. In fact, I'm most likely voting for Hillary, instead of Third Party which was my original plan, just because I am so terrified to think that I might increase Trumps chances in anyway. I may be a conservative, but I do have a brain!!!!

Everything Hillary does is corrupted. She gets away with everything because of who she is. I don't trust her who she picks for supreme court. Now federal judges have just handed down a ruling that will almost certainly hand Hillary the election in November in the state of North Carolina - as major swing state heading into November. the court just struck down voter I'd law so you know there is going to be voter fraud. Why mandatory I'd at polls should be implemented. its discriminatory to ask someone to prove they are a citizen before they vote.
I trust his choices... It will show how corrupt our government is.
Trump will support and protect my 2nd amendment right...where Hillary wants to take it away. So the good gun owners have to suffer.

I am not trying to change your views. I do not like Hillary or Trump and will be voting for Gary Johnson. However, in all fairness, I don't think people are realizing how DIFFICULT it would be for her to ban the second amendment? It isn't something that would happen very easily. Plus, I don't think I have ever heard her say she is for a 100% gun ban. She is for stricter gun control. Nobody said they wanted to disarm the U.S. Again, I tend to lean Conservative, but Republicans throw around "they want to take our guns". No, they don't. They want to make it more difficult to purchase one. Stricter background checks.

So are you voting for Trump as a vote against Hillary? I know many people are and of course certainly your choice. BUT it seems like you are voting for Trump because you like him - but I would really really like to know the specifics as to what it is he has said that you like. You say you "trust his choices." Exactly what choices are you talking about. Without mentioning Hillary, what is it about Trump that you like? I am not trying to stir anything here. I am really trying to understand.
