You know you've hit the rockbottom of laziness when...
...you start wishing and fantasizing that your office door had a remote control to close it so you don't have to get up and walk the 2 steps from your desk to the door to close it every time you have to take a conference call that requires quiet.
I did try just keeping it closed all day but it gets stuffy.
Actually a remote control to open it too would be awesome. 
I think my ass is going to become permanently fused to this chair today....
And I really do think I may be one of the laziest people on earth!

i pick up the tv remote with my toes so i dont have to reach forward

LOL. I HATE reaching forward too.
Yesterday I had my DD get my glass of water off the coffee table and bring it to me because I didn't want to reach forward off the couch to get it.

I can close my door from my seat - I guess I'm lucky lol.
ETA - or I have a really small office (which I do).

I was *just* going to say I have kids to grab the remote for me. That is their function.

In my old building I could do this! Since we moved in here, the door is a few steps away and requires me to get up out of my seat!

I can adjust my thermostat, lock and unlock my front door, and turn my sprinklers on and off without leaving my couch thanks to my phone. It's amazing in the middle of the night when I'm cold or warm but don't want to get out of bed.

I do the same! And I use my toes and feet to pick up things off the floor kind of like a monkey because I'm too lazy to bend over and pick it up lol
This thread has me cracking up lol Nell, you could fashion a poking device out of chopsticks like they did on friends to close the door lol or maybe a broomstick to push the door closed with looped rope and duct tape on the end to hook onto the door knob and pull it open! Lol I'm only half kidding, my lazy ass would totally do this lol

I pick up everything with my finger toes. It's funny because DD is only 3 months old and looks nothing like me.... except her finger toes. And she uses them, too! She was pressing buttons on her toy with her toes the other day.
