It. Never. Ends.

DT supporters please explain how what he said is okay - WITHOUT bringing up how horrible Liberals, Democrats, Hillary and Obama are.

How can anyone not see how he is a narcissist, bully, and an unkind, man incapable of being the President of the US?! I haven't had time or energy to have these discussions with Anyone IRL so maybe someone here can enlighten me.

Now, I am not a Trump supporter AT ALL. Not even a smidge.

His actual quote: "If you look at his wife, she was standing there," he said, "She had nothing to say... Maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say. You tell me."

To me, this is Trump's a$$-backwards way of showing his disagreement with this tenet of Sharia law, and how in most Muslim countries the women are viewed as less than men, and are supposed to stand behind their husbands, not speak or voice opinions, etc.

Is it racist? Absolutely. I don't support what he said - but I can understand it.

Yes, but he didn't respond at all. It's just a personal attack.

Yep.

I read the article and had tears in my eyes. I can't imagine what those people are going through. Their son died for the most patriotic reason possible and in 6 months they could have a president who would like to keep people with their beliefs from entering the country.

Discrimination...by their own president.

But, you know, Donald has "built great structures."

I am done discussing this. I don't even want to hear it anymore. I am not curious anymore. There is NO excuse for supporting him. None at all. I would have more respect for someone who stayed home that day.

Peace out.

It is totally ass backward, and it was a ridiculous comment. It was a typical deflection of his, so he could avoid actually responding to the real issues raised by the speech.

I also wouldn't give Trump too much credit for having knowledge of what Sharia law entails. He didn't even bother to learn that Tom Kean and Tim Kaine are two different people who governed two different states.

IMO, Melania is more likely to be the one who's not getting to voice her opinions.

Exactly.

Respond to what the father had to say NOT that the wife had nothing to say.

He loves to deflect.

I'm sure the DT supporters will ignore this, like they have ignored all his other attacks. Yet, his supporters made a big fuss about what they perceived as a lack of patriotism because the DNC did not have enough flags at the event. Yet, truth be told, a man who insults a fallen hero's parents is the unpatriotic one.

He's an embarrassment. His most recent tweet says that he was viciously attacked by the Khans at the DNC. Viciously attacked? Viciously??? And how he compared his sacrifices to that of Captain Khan's?? Disgusting! This is how he supports the military?

His Twitter feed is a joke. Half of the time he talks about how big his crowds are, how big his tv ratings are. Where are the policies Don? What are your plans? Do you have anything of substance to say? He freakin tweeted a picture of his face on a Thomas train. He's a petulant child and I'm sick of him.

I started reading the tweets of his former ghostwriter, Tony Schwartz, who has a lot of interesting things to say about him and his narcissistic personality.

ETA: and the fact that someone who is thisclose to becoming president doesn't know things regatding Putin and Ukraine, is absolutely terrifying.

I just can't anymore. I try to see both sides and not get to carried away with people who appose me. I support Gary Johnson. I don't hate HRC I just don't want her to be my President. If she is I'll be ok and life will go on. HOWEVER, if Trump is President it will be scary. It will be awful. I can NOT and will NOT support such an asshole. This man, I don't care how many jobs he creates, how much more will be in myc paycheck or how he'll do such great things.....if you are an asshole as a person that won't change. I will be disgusted and ashamed of my country of this pig wins.

Re: Trump and Khan

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos Trump compared his "sacrifices" to the one made by this soldier who gave his life!! Even George S was incredulous!! He said he had sacrificed many things - he built buildings, he hired thousands of people...its like you put a dime in his slot and he spews the same stuff out. He doesn't understand the question. He doesn't understand the answer. He has the same line for everything. " I build things..I employ people. I will build a wall"...god help us all if this blundering idiot makes it to the white house. He better hire the Dalai Lama as his secretary of state because he is going to need every bit of help he can get.

Reporters ask all the time why people still support him .It seems the overall conclusion is that some people support him because they are staunch republicans ad you could put mickey mouse on the ballot and they would vote..the others are voting because they are on the "fear train" and they believe that Trump will build walls and keep all the bad guys out and america will be "great" again. So help me god..its such a sad state of affairs.

Ghazala Khan had an interview on MSNBC, voicing her own opinions and thoughts. You can't get much more "anti sharia law" than that.

Plus, if they were following that tenet of Sharia law, she wouldn't have been allowed to stand next to her husband on TV in the first place.

There's only one response to the Khans - that their son should be honored as an American hero and they should be honored for their sacrifice.

I lean right. I vote republican because those are most like the views/concerns I have. But this has pushed me over the proverbial fence I have been on this election. One of my biggest pet peeves is the lack of respect, resources and benefits that are given to our veterans. They have earned and deserve the best of the best, IMO. How DT could be so disrespectful to people who lost their son fighting for this country is just outrageous. I have not agreed with all the criticisms and largely negative media hype of DT or accusations of mysogeny, racism, etc. I think they are gross exaggerations. But this is different. This was a downright mockery of this poor family's loss and quite condescending to Muslim women. I can't waste my vote on him in the name of republican principles.

He's vile. He kept saying "everyone is saying that" like his followers on Twitter. He needs to be gone. He is an embarrassment to us all. I'm mortified that this person was even given a platform to speak such hate and nonsense to others. And yes, I judge those who support him. I really can't fathom people in this day having such hate for others.

I saw a quote on FB that really made sense - "For anyone voting or supporting Trump, please make sure to tell your female, LGBTQ, disabled, black, hispanic, Muslim and immigrant friends and family that you don't support their right to live a life free of discrimination and prejudice."

Comments like this make me think DT, HRC and the DNC are in cohoots for a democratic win and I'm only semi joking here. Like even if he's an outright racist which I don't think he is, how can one individual be dumb enough to voice those comments and many others openly. It's just hard for me to believe a successful guy is so dumb. But anything is possible. I can't stand KRC though, so I will be voting 3rd party this November. Likely Gary Johnson as well, fiscally conservative and socially liberal, the best mix IMO.

Trump should pray that he never has to sacrifice one of his children the way the Khan's did, fighting for our freedom.
God help us all if this man becomes President. He needs to learn to think before he speaks like the village idiot.

He is a vile excuse for a human being. He's not fit to represent the United States, and he's an embarrassment to the Republican party. He's an embarrassment to the American people. I see a lot of my Republican friends have gotten quiet online, and I seriously hope it's because they're ashamed of him.

Trump compared the Khan's sacrifice of losing a child to his sacrifice of creating jobs and building structures. I can't even fathom how any decent human being could ever think the two are remotely comparable. Trump doesn't know the meaning of sacrifice. He truly has no decency or respect for anyone. He has no heart or soul. Trump has proven time and time again that his character is so flawed there is not a single redeeming quality about him. He is a truly sad and empty individual.

ITA disgusting! Can you even imagine what he would be like trying to lead the country during a crisis. I don't know how people don't see this. He is unfit to hold any public office let alone be the President.

Trump is a narcissist and, as such, he is unable/unwilling to allow anyone or anything take attention away from him. In his mind, he does not care that this couple lost their son and can only focus on the fact that they insulted him. While I truly hope this is an eye opening incident, it won't be because his supporters excuse his behavior as mere embellishment and will continue to support him.
