I personally don't have the issues with Hillary that many have.
I find her to be incredibly smart and incredibly qualified for the position. Is she perfect? No. But I don't get the vitriol.
On social issues alone I would vote for Hillary. With Supreme Court vacancies, it is paramount for me. I
Same here. I don't understand how the countless committees on Benghazi all coming up with the same results of her not being accountable don't mean anything.

I agree. I dont think she is perfect but I think she is incredibly smart and qualified and I think she would make a great president. I am happy to vote for her and planned to vote for her over any of the republican candidates. I think Trump is horrifying so it's even more of an incentive for me to vote for her. A handful of my life-long republican friends are crossing the aisle to vote for Hillary in this election.

Here is my opinion on voting or not voting (and take it for what it is JUST MY OPINION).
While yes we vote for a president and while that person has a ton of power there are so many checks and balances in the way things are approved and able/unable to get through government. I think of it more big picture. While I have my issues with Hillary I have more issues with a republican candidate, any one not just trump. So while I would not vote for Hillary if I had a choice I will still vote because I personally think a Republican in office can do way more harm than a bad Democrat.
So basically I vote for my views on various topics and even if the candidate for that party is not perfect I still have faith that in whole things that are important to me will still be intact because of the overall views of the party.
And remember your votes for Congress members are just as if not more important. They are the checks and balances to the president.
This.

I don't think I can vote in this election
Even if you don't feel you could vote for someone as president, please get out and vote for the people that are up for Congress and Senate!
As a Democrat, I'm so tired of the stalemates we have when votes are trying to be passed. I'm voting for Hilary b/c I think she's the better candidate, but I'm also trying to bounce out the dead weight Republicans in office that refuse to vote on important issues.

I feel the same way. I have issues with both candidates, and I can't overlook either one of the things I strongly believe in, to vote just to keep the other out... I will be voting Jill Stein.

Re: I don't think I can vote in this election
All I am going to say is that I urge you to look into Hillary Clinton to vote for.
Besides a lot of other things the thought of Trump being president is just frightening.
She has the experience to lead.
She has been cleared of any wrongdoing in Benghazi.
I can go on. Is she awesome? Hell no. Has she lied and made mistakes?? Hell yes.
However. She is qualified and ready. Most importantly the Supreme Court is at stake. A democrat has to win to protect our basic rights. No congrats man should be making laws on who should be married or not. It's between 2 people. Not me and the government.
I urge you to look into HRC and what she stands for. And yes, even voting for as a vote against Trump.
Do whatever you feel is right. But vote and write YOUR name in. Just please vote.

And I guess that's where the confusion comes in (for me).
I'm jot sure what "she got away with". What did she do that she "got away with". And I'm being serious with NO flame.
One thing is the email. What has been put in the media is tha she got away with lying.
Did you know she didn't lie? When she was on the stand she answered all the questions truthfully. She did not lie. In the end it was found that she did have classified info. I think all the emails that were found as classified were labeled so after the fact. So when she sent them they were NOT classified.
And the email server. Did you know that the government has to do something called "white listing" for her account? She would not have been able to send or receive email from "official" sources without THEM recognizing that server and telling their server "oh, ok. We recognize this please let her email through, and allow us to send to her". Bernie said it best " enough with the damn emails".
In just about every scenario her deeds have been twisted and put out there to discredit her.
It's all about the spin. I don't really care about the Milania speech. But did you know that TRump/RNC is blaming Hillary for it?
You can't make this up.
Again. All I say is look into what she has done. Where she stands on the issues, what her record really is and I urge you to vote for her.
I am clear. She is not the best we have ever had. But I find her to be truthful, trustworthy and ready to lead this country. With the Supreme Court at stake I urge you to think about voting for her.
As always do what you need to do and vote how you need to.

That's why the whole email thing is BS. Someone in the gov't approved to allow her non-gov't approved device to get emails. Or approved forwarding her government domain emails to a personal domain. She didn't do this in isolation.
Every single person on the emails that sent or replied to messages with confidential data inside are also as guilty as she is. They knew they were sending/replying to confidential emails to a non-government domain.
Its in my company policy that we are not allowed to email passwords outside of our email domain (ie mycompany.com). I'm damn certain that every single email that I write or see contains passwords that I look at all the recipients are @mycompany.com. And if they are not, I blank out the password.

Im with you, I hate this. I dislike Hillary, but will probably vote for her bc A) I hate Trump WAY more and bc B) the empty SC Justice seat concerns me the most.

Re: I don't think I can vote in this election
I feel like voting 3rd party is a waste... Especially in NY where my vote doesn't really count bc HRC will win in NY. I despise the electoral college and the fact that we the people do not really choose our leaders.
I cannot find one thing I can stand behind HRC on not can I find one thing I can stand behind DT on.
It's disheartening that we don't have a candidate who isn't a huge embarrassment to our country who has an actual chance of winning

Do people really believe that Trump isn't lying as well? He truly scares me with overseas relations. The hate that he spews is unbelievable. If (God forbid) he does get elected, Everything he claims he will do won't happen and he will blame everyone else for it! He doesn't have the credentials, experience or knowledge to be the POTUS. I might vote third party if there was a really good chance of winning, but IMO voting 3rd party is helping Trump and I just can't do that.

Re: I don't think I can vote in this election
I feel terribly guilty NOT voting but don't want to vote for someone "just to vote". This is the first time EVER that I really truly feel that I can't do it.
I would vote 3rd party... I would vote for Bernie Sanders as a write in (unless somehow his name is still on the ballot)..but for what purpose? He has no chance of winning. I feel like it's a huge waste.
I don't know. I am just so disheartened and so disgusted by this entire election. I am scared for our country either way. I think they are both AWFUL choices and I feel like its a choice between 2 really really awful evils.

absolutely. it boggles my mind how ANYONE could possibly think for a moment that donald trump gives a flying f**k about anyone other than donald trump.
hillary is smart, experienced, qualified, even tempered and most importantly, not a complete sociopathic hate monger.

Voting 3rd party is not a waste. If the 3rd party gets enough votes, then they would be included in debates, etc next time around.
If everyone that never voted went ahead and voted for the third party, we would have a 3 party system now instead of 2.
