Pool Party
Looking for recommendations for a place to have an indoor pool party for my DD in the fall - She will be turning 5. Does anyone have suggestions for a venue? I was considering aSaf T Swim, NYSC in Hicksville or Tully Aquatic ? Would love to hear your experiences.

Pool Party
I am curious how the pool parties work. I have almost 5yr old twin boys (5 in Oct) they don't know how to swim at all. If you have a pool party how does it work for non swimmers? Can they go in tubes?

Re: Pool Party
I have been to 2 parties at Saf T Swim and it was great. The kids LOVED it.
If you child doesn't swim you can bring a life vest or a puddle jumper. They will provide water wings but I don't trust those things on a non swimmer.
I brought DD's puddle jumper and several kids were wearing them.
It's an hour of swim and a half hour in the party room for pizza/cake etc

Puddle jumpers or life vests. Tubes won't be the safest things at all.

This ! We did it for my twins 5th bday this year It was in January and the first date was a blizzard and I had to reschedule (which they were so great about) and on the new date it was like 2 degrees outside The kids were sooooo excited to swim
It went very smoothly I had all the kids wear swimmies or puddle jumpers as they were all 5 and under
There were 2 Instructors in the pool and one out of the pool
The only negative (minor) i would say is that the girls/guys were that great when it was pizza/cake time and I had to help out a lot But really not a big deal at all
So glad I did it

Re: Pool Party
We have had parties at Tully Aquatic Center and they were really fun. We got the downstairs room off the pool to be easier. We had pizza delivered and brought in cake and paper goods. The pool is very nice and it is zero entry with the water spray area and a water slide for the bigger kids. I do wish they let you book it for longer then 2 hours. Since there is no party host you need an extra adult or 2 to give you hand but it was not stressful at all....The Kids loved it

Re: Pool Party
We're having my sons birthday party at Safe-T-Swim in Hicksville at the end of the month. I think we're doing the 3 hr option, 1 1/2 in the pool, 1 1/2 for food. I'm also searching someone to do face painting and balloon making since I don't think they'll need 1 1/2 for food. If I remember I'll post a follow up here.

It depends on where you go. Saf T swim for example allows kids to go in with floatation devises/ tubes etc. Tully does not let you use any kind of swim devise but they have zero entry pools.
