Tape recorder
Anyone know of a decent recorder, im getting my MIL a psychic appt and i want her to record it...
Something with good quality so we dont miss anything - it will need to record 3-hrs worth

You definitely want to get a digital one, not a tape. Most of the digital ones record several hundred hours+, and are about the size of two magic markers. They hover around $35
They even have "stealth" ones that look like standard thumb drives that record dozens of hours or more, and are around $15

Yes but the file will probably be too large to emaill
It's approximately 1MB of storage for one minute of decent MP3 audio, so 3 hours is about 180MB. Too big to email, but easily transferred through Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft Cloud service, etc.
