how do you know if you broke your toe?

getting dressed, this morning, i stubbed my toe on the end of the bed REAL BAD.

i just wiggled my toes in my shoe and almost shot out of my seat from the pain. i hope it's not broken.

time to check webmd to see if my foot is going to fall off from gangrene

I've broken my toe a couple of times. The last time hurt so bad, it immediately turned purple and I could not move it.

Just tape it to the toe next to it. There's really nothing to do for it.

Dh broke his last week, shattered the bone actually. It swelled a ton and was terribly bruised. We went to urgent care for an x-ray and a podiatrist dot follow up. He was told basically no shoe for 8 weeks. It's a week out and he's still in a ton of pain. The day first 2-3 days it was excruciating.

oh my goodness. i didn't know it would hurt so bad.

looks like i didn't break anything... but boy, does it hurt

I couldn't move it and it was black

We called it the dead toe lol

My pinky toe stuck out like a thumb. I pushed it back in. Black and blue and swollen. Taped it to toe next to it. Try to stay off it.

That's all you can do.
