Heartbroken. My heart is hurting for the people who lost their lives, Their families who are still waiting to hear, the injured and everyone who had to endure this horrific tragedy. I can ask why until I'm blue and I'll never know.
Florida senator just stated there may be an ISIS connection
But obviously too early to be 100% - but this is what intelligence is stating at this time

I'm totally dismayed at the news of this shooting . once again we are dealing with such a huge tragedy and I don't understand why this has to continue. I really wish there was a viable solution to prevent this from happening again.

I am so heartbroken over this. Once again innocent lives lost because of some lunatic with a gun. Its so tragic yet in a few weeks all will be forgotten and nothing will have changed. I'm so sad and I wish all this senseless gun violence would end....somehow someway.

I am glad that you are ok. The FBI said that if you know him they want you to reach out, did you notice anything strange about him? Hugs to you. This must be so traumatic being so incredibly close to home.

Don't know him. Saw the face and it looked familiar but I couldn't place where. Then it clicked when they said security guard.

This is heartbreaking...just heartbreaking.
Question - I really don't know much about guns, but why would someone buy an assault rifle? Like, wouldn't that raise a red flag to the gun store owner? Or is it "normal" for gun owners to buy them. Really, really curious.

It is just so sad and leaves me feeling so sick for the world our kids are growing up in. I know bad stuff has always happened but now its always on such a biggger scale and way more intense. I laid in bed last night with my stomach doing flip flops thinking about my kids out in the world. Sad sad sad! These poor families!

So senseless. Why do we keep standing idly by and allowing this to keep happening over and over? When will things change? When will people be able to go ANYWHERE without being gunned down?
When 6 year olds can't go to school without being shot to death, we know we're fuked and there's no hope for any of us, really.

So sad. No words anymore. Have investigators gotten down what was behind the shooting? Was it domestic terrorism, radical islamic, or a hate crime? I haven't been able to follow closely.

He was definitely anti-gay from what I have read but he also pledged his allegiance to ISIS at the end so I think it was a combination
