Know how to figure out which app it was? I have 2 iPads and a phone , darn kids

I don't have apple products, just android, but does it email you when a purchase is made?
As a side note, my son made over $900 in purchases one month on movies, games, etc....on his device that dad set up with no p/w. and he didn't really think they were charging him "real" money he said. Needless to say we were not happy to get the Amex bill that month. Apparently the emails for each purchase were going to spam, so we never caught on!

If there is a phone number, google it as we were changed on both our credit cards and debit cards for bogus charges from apple iTunes. It was a pain but we got back $1,000 from what they "stole" from us.
They start off with little amounts you don't notice and then start with larger ones.

Check your card for other purchases. Someone stole my CC info once and made fake apple iTunes purchases for small amounts before they got away with the rest of it.

Yep, us too. Both cc and debit cards. They start off small and then make 6 or 8 purchases a day at $100 or more.

My point was if she thinks it was her kids, that she can see what apps the charges ARE for and see if it is them......I wasn't talking about your case. Her question was is there anyway to find out which app was purchased. Geez.

The apps that were being charged to our cards were ones that my son used as they hacked into the account.
If you google the number on the charge, you will see a bunch of threads about how it is a scam and if you call the number you don't get anyplace after that.
Sorry I have experience with this and trying to help.

Thank you all! It is one of the kids apps which I thought was free but I'm going to keep an eye on that card to make sure there are no other charges,m it was 4.99 plus tax
