Can only town of Brookhaven residents go to this?
If anyone can go how much is parking/admissions?

Holtsville Ecology Center
No. I believe it's $5 to park but I don't know if they're charging yet. Town of Brookhaven residents don't have to pay if they have the sticker.

I just read that they are now charging. I thought they didn't charge until after Memorial Day.

im not a resident and ive gone there 3 times and never paid
They charge for parking starting in May and they usually stop after Labor Day I believe.

It has many things such as bike trails, park, a public pool, but the best is the zoo area. They have all rescued animals. It is great. It is not huge but big enough that the kids have a great time. I also really enjoy it.

We went today and it definitely was the best $5 I spent in a long time! DS loved all the animals especially how close you can get to the animals. We will definitely go back!

they started charging on may 9th. i went that day and was surprised that they started charging so early.
you can park on the side street and walk in.
