I hate cancer!!!!
A few months I posted about my ex-h being diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. It was five weeks from diagnosis until he passed away on 1/1/2016. As expected, it was difficult on my two daughters but we've begun to heal as a family with the help of my dh, who has stepped in as an amazing role model for my girls. Well, now we are facing the possibility that my dh may have lymphoma. He is having the last of the testing (biopsy) on Friday. The doctors are very optimistic that he will be ok and recover fully. This has been the worst 6 months....

I'm so sorry. Lots of prayers for you.
I lost my mom to stage 4 lung cancer 4 months after she was diagnosed.
Now one of my closest friends and my neighbor both have lymphoma.
I hate this disease.

Cancer SUCKS!!!

I remember ur post and I remember feeling so sad for ur daughters 
Cancer is def one of the worst and most unfair diseases out there! My DH lost his dad because of lung cancer and I lost my mom due to non-hodgkin lymphoma. It's horrible losing someone so close to us, none of my friends have lost a parent due to cancer and although all of them were so supporting, I felt like none of them knew exactly what it really was to lose a mom. Thank God for my siblings!!
Hang in there mommy, be very, very positive, and don't lose ur faith and optimism cause this can def make a big difference to ur DH. Sending many prayers to u!!!!!

Lost my mom, MIL, a friend's 26 year old son to cancer.
CANCER SUCKS !
Instead of spending money on space exploration that leads to a whole lot of nothing, how about more funding to fight and cure cancer ?

I am so sorry you are going through this.
My mom passed away from non-small cell lung cancer in May 2013. My dad was diagnosed with large B-Grade cell lymphoma is September 2013. He was treated at MSK and is in full-remission now.
Praying your husband has a quick recovery.

Cancer sucks. I know two guys under 30 fighting testicular cancer, my 35 year old friend is fighting breast cancer and two people in their 50s fighting cancer as well.
My prayers are with you and your dh and kids.

I'm so sorry! I don't know what type of lymphoma your dh has but remember that stage 4 lung cancer and lymphoma, while both cancer, are completely different. Many types of lymphoma are highly curable.
ETA: I just re-read your post and I can assure you, most doctors don't offer false hope. If they think your dh will be ok I would 100% trust them!

I'm so sorry your family is going through such a long stretch of awful times.
I am sure the doctor is right - if this is cancer, he will have a full recovery. As another poster put it, doctors won't give false hope in cases like these.
