Update: Lost my job
So last week was my last week at "Big Legal".
Monday? Opened up my own business. I decided that I am going to do what I do for myself rather than someone else.
SO I have been working the phones and working on getting business.
But I am making a good go of this. I think getting fired from Big Legal is going to be the best thing that EVER happened to me.

Ad I have to thank Big Legal. I have been in my industry for 11 years. Before Big Legal I would not have had enough experience to open my own business. I have gained invaluable experience there to give what I need to succeed.
I am ready, prepared and I am going to crush this!!!
If any of you are litigators and want information on technology in court, showing evidence in court, or just have questions please feel free to contact me. If you would like me to come to your firm for a demo on Trial Director and technology for court I would be happy to do that as well.

Good for you! Lots of luck! If we are ever looking for that type of service, I will certainly keep you in mind.
ETA: One of my BFFs also lost her job and, out of necessity, started her own company. She essentially started as a consultant and did grunt work for people in her field. She really persevered, made the right connections and she now has about 30 employees and is top in her field.
