when I speak to his family (which is rare  ) I would just say his name.
if I speak to people who don't know my husband I tend to say my husband only because If I say his name they wont know who it is. I hate when I use my husband because i feel like its, i don't know what word to use but snotty is what i am thinking right now.

those who are married..
When speaking to his family members or mine, I refer to him by his name. Pretty much if I am referring to him in conversation with anyone, I just say his name, unless the person I am speaking to does not know him

By his name. I think if I referred to him as "my husband" when speaking to his mother or family, they would probably find it offensive (almost as if I was being possessive).
