Mother's day tradition
What is your mother's day tradition, if you have one? What do you do every year to celebrate? Need some ideas, TIA1

Mother's day tradition
Just go to brunch with DH & kids.

I don't have kids and my mom is gone, so this is a real nothing day for me.
I don't go out - it hurts when well meaning strangers wish me a happy mother's day.

Mother's day tradition
We used to have a tradition where we would see my parents in the morning and my inlaws in the afternoon. Last year my parents nor my inlaws were around so we just stayed home and acted like it was a normal day (which I prefer since I find the holiday to be more for the card companies and flower companies).
This year we're going on a cruise and we leave on Mother's Day. I'm hoping this tradition sticks

Mother's day tradition
We go out east. We start at Harbes Farm and then picnic lunch at one of the wineries. This will be our third year, and it's one of my favorite family traditions with just the three of us. We usually go to my mom's for breakfast beforehand.

Several years ago I started taking my mom to tea for mother's day. Last year DD started coming along. This year we'll be in Disney right before mother's day so the three of us will be having tea in Disney.
We don't normally do this on mother's day. It's usually right before or right after. As for the day, we usually get together with family for a bbq.

Mother's day tradition
DH and my father will usually BBQ for me, my mother in law and my mom. If the weather is bad, we just order in food.

This sounds amazing! But that's a far drive for us and with 2 very active toddlers, not sure how the wineries would work lol

awww, super cute tradition!! omg iI would LOVE Disney to be my mother's day tradition lol not happening though haha.
