They are saying 23 dead but I am sure that will rise.

No threat in NYC. But I woke my husband and told him I would call when I got in. I changed my commute, in general. I now got to hunters point instead of Penn. if I can avoid penn I do.

Agree with all that you said. Preventing this kind of thing should be the number 1 issue in the presidential campaign and the number 1 criterion of voters.

Absolutely terrible! I am so sorry for all those who lost their lives or those injured. Many prayers for all. It is my greatest fear that one day they will attack our Railroad, subways and Penn station. I hate the world today. This is why I don't feel confident in any candidate we have running for President. I am really terrified of the future and future of my children.

Terrifying, heart breaking, & constant state of anxiety, world. Atleast for me anyway. Everytime a terrorist hits my stomach drops and I feel extremely nauseous and sick. I mourn for all that have lost their lives in attacks past and present. I cry for the world my children have to experience. And all of us. I really fukking hate this!

So very sad
I was talking to AJ last night about religion. My two aunts took her to church this weekend without asking me and without later telling me. She had questions of course. So we talked about all sorts of things. Why I don't believe and why others do. I told her about some of the faiths in this world. Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist. In that conversation the sad reality was a lot of war has been waged and a lot of people have been killed trying to prove one faith/religion was better or more right than another. The greatest tragedies mankind has committed have been in the name of / or against one faith or another. From the crusades, to the holocaust, to modern terrorism. When the truth is we are all just humans on this same planet.
So sad
She and I both agreed, we need to all do better. Try to help each other as humans.
Those people who died didn't pick sides. They weren't part of a movement, they were just innocently minding their own business.
So Sad.

So very sad and horrible for all those effected. I am watching the news conference on TV about increased security in the City and honestly this is the first time I am uncomfortable. When I was working I did Crisis Management in the City and worked closely with OEM and Homeland Security during and after 9/11 and I find this news conference disturbing even though they say there is no creditable threats. I'm not sure I believe them. Sucks that the world has come to this.

At 31 now. The pictures are horrific. The survivors clothes were ripped off their bodies and to tatters. So shocking as Belgium is generally very safe and quiet.

Obviously in retaliation for the arrest of the Paris bombing attacks' ringleader. They're animals, and it's sad to say that it seems nothing is stopping these savages.
Belgium is one of my favorite places... they are usually such neutral ground.
