Just being one hour different (1:00 or 2:00 start time) really wouldn't make much of a difference to me, but if I had to pick one, I would prefer the earlier time

I dislike parties that end late on a Sunday. Would love to do it even earlier but 1pm is the earliest possible. My husband felt 2-5pm was a more appropriate time to be having dinner.

Re: Party time

Will the restaurant do the 2 - 5pm? Some don't like to get too close to 5pm in hopes of a busy dinner crowd and time to turn things over.

Either way - I prefer the earlier times.

Party time

I just hosted a shower and made the mistake of starting it at noon on a Sunday. We had half the people tell us they'd be late. Clearly I'm not a church goer so that never even crossed my mind. Some had to take kids to Sunday school and others had kids with early activities. It wasn't a big deal since we had it at home but it would have been a pain at a restaurant. One may be okay but in our case that would have been cutting it close still for some of our guests. Personally I'd prefer 1 though.
