Please tell me about your alarm system/ theft prevention systems
Looking to redo our alarm system because our previous owners only alarmed the doors  to our ranch house so right now our windows are unprotected.
What company do you use?
What are you paying (if you don't mind sharing)
What is included.
I'd love outdoor cameras as well. There have been so many break ins in our area.

We used Banner Alarm in North Massapequa for the install and monitoring. I don't remember specifically what we paid for the install but it was under $2K at the time, this was in 2005. We have every window armed as well as every door, the inside garage door, and the attic hatch. We also have a motion sensor in our living room and 2 keypads. Central servicing monitoring costs us $68/quarter.

We use Protection One. I'm very happy with them. We pay a lot, but we like the service and what they offer. We are adding outside cameras next. We have cameras inside currently as well as doors and windows alarmed.

We use protect America- LOVE them. So I got everything for $100 set up- negotiate with them. I got 15 window sensors, 2 door sensors, 1 motion sensor and a camera that's wifi. Everything including sensors is wireless so it's a nice clean easy set up. You do the set up yourself with a tech on the phone took me like 30min. I got the camera because we have the dog. I have the app on my phone I can check my system all day- get alerts when doors open etc, and I can watch my camera live to check on the dog while I'm at work. I have the central box in the house but can use the phone to arm the system. I have the voice over so when a door opens it says "front door open" as an example. I have a 3 level split so it's nice to hear what's going on. I LOVE my alarm. We pay $56 a month. I highly recommend them
