St. Mary's Children's Hospital in Bayside
Does anyone have experience? The hospital social worker suggested it as a place to send Lila upon her discharge from stonybrook so she can get the proper therapies she needs to get back to or as close to where she is and should be much more quickly than if we were to wait for EI.

St. Mary's Children's Hospital in Bayside
A coworker has a child who resides there and is very happy with the care. Our school frequently visits the children there and says it is such a wonderful place :)

One of my professors worked there and we did a field trip there many years ago. I was very impressed, and i've only heard good things in all my years as a PT.

St. Mary's Children's Hospital in Bayside
My brother was there after he got really sick. The nurses were excellent care was superb. There were lots of resources for the kids. She will be in excellent hands there

It is a wonderful place. My friends mother has been volunteering and donating money to them for years and my old babysitter was a nurse there, they both love it.

I replied on the other thread but the rehab team there really is great. They are known for being well trained in feeding therapy and helped transition kids back to eating/drinking normally. The level of experience you will get there will probably be beyond your typical EI therapist.

This! It is a really great hospital. I volunteered there in high school and college. I had my kids CPSE evals done there as well. Praying for your little girl!
