Really awesome bridal shower gift?
A very dear friend is getting married and I really want to wow with her gift...There's some decent things on the registry but I love giving unique gifts too.
Has anyone ever gotten a really fantastic bridal shower gift?

I really like to do a honeymoon theme. Maybe a piece of luggage from her registry filled with things like lingerie, personalized luggage tags, just married flip flops, etc...

Really awesome bridal shower gift?
Honey moon theme is awesome!!! For my shower I got a huge basket of lingerie with a poem about each piece it was so beautiful I can send it to you if you want. I also got a personalized cutting board, a basket of firsts with wine to go with it, and a beautiful tea set- I love tea sets so this was special to me

I think a Channa plaque is nice. They can display it at their wedding and then hang it on their wall after the wedding.

A basket filled with his & hers- robe, slippers, etc. Maybe throw in some chocolate, wine, candles, massage cert.

I'm in the minority but I would do a small sentimental gift with something really nice from her registry. It's the thought that counts of course, but you run the risk of buying something that she doesn't want/need. Over the years I've noticed that the different gifts kinda just end up being a waste of money.
I think if I had to do something unique, the candle basket/poem is really adorable. I've only seen it at one shower but it made the bride cry (tears of joy of course lol):

Really awesome bridal shower gift?
I got a slate sign from Krilly creations on etsy - The Z's est. 2014 ya know. It is so beautiful! I have it hanging in my entrance way and I now ordered more from her shop to change with the seasons: christmas, easter etc.

I got a set like this from my brother in law and sister in law. It had our name and wedding date on the front. Inside the crate (it was all in a beautiful wooden crate), they typed a beautiful note to us about how they wish us all these things. We are married 13 years and still put these on our tree every year and read the meaning of each one as we put the ornament on the tree and I still keep the note they gave us in the wooden crate and we read it each year as we unpack them. Love this idea!
