Nissan Rogue...
If you have a Rogue do you mind telling me your monthly payment and what you put down? A lease I am looking into is $369 a month and $2K down, I feel like that is a purchase price 36 mos. but I am trading in a altima lease early.
Thanks !

Nissan Rogue...
My first Rogue was a lease. It was a basic model. Nothing in it. First mth payment, DMV fees and taxes $274. When that lease was up I went back to Nissan for another Rogue since I loved it so much. Dealt with the same sales rep, I got even a better deal. I think I got a sports version, only put down the first mth payment, no taxes and dmv fees ... kept my original payment $274. I went to the Nissan dealer in Bayside. Are you getting stuff added? That seems pretty high considering how much you are putting down.

Re: Nissan Rogue...
it is the SV model, not the highest but I am turning in a lease early. $274 - wow I would sign ASAP - that dealer is too far from me, I am out east.

I think that's the one I had. The only difference that car had vs. my first was the back up camera, Bluetooth, nicer rims and the sport fabric instead of the basic fabric for the seats. I turned my 1st Rogue in early too but not by much. I think 1-2 months. I would shop around and get another quote. It's a great car though, I loved it. I would have gotten a 3rd one but I needed a bigger car.

Re: Nissan Rogue...
I have the top of the line and put nothing down and pay $399. My mom has the middle of the road on and pays $358 and put nothing down. I wouldn't put 2k down on a lease , you are never getting that money back.

Did you put 1st month payment and DMV out of pocket? The 2k was DMV and Fees, I thought ?

It was all fees - not actual $ down on car - it was first month payment - DMV, and taxes I believe

Maybe its because you're trading in your Altima lease early? They are probably wrapping up your remaining lease payments in there. Even if they say that they aren't, the money has to go somewhere.

You cant really compare to other people because programs change month to month. As far as fees upfront, standard is taxes, DMV and first month. If you are terminating a lease early chances are your remaining payments are factored in as well unless there is a pull ahead program or something to that effect. I work at a dealer- PM me. Ill be glad to help

Haha! I'm sure I'll still be in the business. Its like a black hole. Once your in you never get out! And you have to be so careful these days. Even reputable dealers will take an opportunity if it arises. Business is so bad now and everyone is hurting. Its sad when the general public is so uninformed about what really goes on. I got hosed once before I went into the business and with some of the things Ive seen, I always try to help.

Best way to save $$ is by buying a used car and not leasing at all.
