We absolutely love it here. My grandfather's family has lived here for three generations, so most of my extended family lives here too. We are in proximity of several playgrounds, the local beach, we walk on Main Street, and we love the library. DS has gone through EI through the school district and I have been very happy so far. We have rented here for 9 years and we would love to buy a house here. Feel free to FM me with any questions!

Islip?
Love it. Good schools, good parks. Good property size for your money. It is on my top list of where we want to look to buy a home.

Lived here for 6 years now and so glad we chose Islip. My dd doesn't start Kindergarten until September but I am a teacher and the principal of my school lives in islip and has 2 children in the district and he raves about it
