West Islip? Updated with Map...
How's the SD? South Shore areas not North. Below Montauk hwy and such.

That's north WI. Check if it's WI or Bay Shore schools.

It definitely says West Islip SD, but we should double check right? The zip is 11795.

then it is West Islip Schools, but that is North West Islip on the Boarder of Brentwood/Bayshore they call it Baywood.

If it's a listing that says WI SD, then you're good. They cannot misrepresent that. Just so you know, to my knowledge school districts don't neccessarily go in line with the zip, but 11795 is the zip for the town of WI.

No the area is a nice area, but I am not sure exactly were it is I would need to see the map zoomed out a little more so I can see the major cross roads near Bayshore Road to see the exact location.

They call the area on the other side of Bayshore Road Baywood.

Ah... okay it's South of Bayshore Rd, just barely north of the SS pkwy, and between DPA and Udall Rd.
Maybe this map will help...

Im pretty sure that is back by Kime Lake. Its nice back there. It is where one one side of the block its North Babylon SD and the other side is WI SD. Its just north of southern state first block make a left...
I would move there in a heart beat!

I just looked it up on mapquest and that area is very nice I think they have a special name for the area like West Islip Acres or something like that, but yes that is a very nice area and the schools would be Manituck Elementary, Udall Road Jr High (which I went to) and West Islip High School (which I also went to) the schools are great and alot of families are very into sports in WI. It is a nice area and close to all shopping and highways.

I like the area alot.
I grew up on just the other side of Southern State, just east of the lake.
I went to all of those schools (even though it was forever ago) - I loved the district, I would move back in a heartbeat.

Check to see if you can get sewer hook-up there (if that matters to you). Last I heard, homes north of the SS Pkwy had to use cesspools and sewers were not available there. Otherwise, nice area!
