Or people who write these amazing and long tributes with lots of exclamation points to family members who are not even on Facebook!!!!We have a friend with a "truly amazing hubby" that does this almost daily...your truly amazing hubby isn't even on Facebook so STFU!!!

One of mine tags her dh in every.single.one of her posts. Why? Lol. My dh would tell me to cut it out as he can see them on his timeline anyway lol

This annoys me but not as much as the ones posting their own good deeds so everyone can tell them what a great person they are. "Bought lunch for a homeless guy during my break today. Couldn't just walk by an ignore him". Did you do it out of the kindness of your heart or so you could post on Facebook? Altruism is dead.
It depends on how it is written - sometimes I feel it opens people's eyes up to what is out there and inspires them to help as well. I know I am being Pollyanna here, but if it's not done in a douchey way it can be effective.

I just need to get this out
Ok I post about my husband on his birthday. I do it because a lot of my friends complain about their husbands and boyfriends not helping with their kids and being lazy asses, but mine really busts his ass all day at work and then helps so much with our son. So I feel like husbands sometimes get a bad rap, and I want to give mine credit when it's due.
I barely post on fb though. I mostly read. I do have a few friends that humble brag or do anything for attention and comments but I just ignore or roll my eyes and scroll on.
My mom is so one of those people that shares everything likes everything types amen on everything. This is why I forbid anyone to post pics of my son because God knows who would be seeing them with all this spam bs she is accumulating

ugh I hate this! I blocked my cousin because I was so sick of reading what a wonderful hubby he was, how hard he works, how romantic he is. About their date nights, and count downs to kid free vacas Yuck! If you feel that way about someone tell them don't put in on fb.

That is what they want you to think as it is all a fantasy to make people jealous. In reality, these guys are out running around on them (not all of course but IME, these are the couples that you eventually find out about).

Don't worry. I'm sure most of the people on here say something nice their dh on FB for their birthdays. I'm pretty active on FB, if I didn't say anything to my dh for his birthday it would so be me purposely trying to not, lol- you can't win.
