Random question but what kind of toothbrush do you use? Is a Sonicare Toothbrush worth it? My teeth look so gross lately

Re: Toothbrush

I use the Oral-B --- same idea as the Sonicare.

I have used the Sonicare in the past.

I like both. I prefer the size of the Oral-B a little more, meaning, the size of the toothbrush head.

Either one is great. If you have never used an electronic toothbrush before you will be amazed at the difference vs. a regular toothbrush. I will go to dentist cleanings and the hygienist will barely have any plaque to scrape and clean away. She comments on it all the time. It really is like a cleaning every time you brush.

I also recommend, if you are unhappy with your teeth -- not sure WHY -- but if it is a whitening thing, I recommend KOR whitening. You can get it through your dentist. Fantastic results.

Thank you but I can't take credit... I owe it all to my orthodontist LOL! You should have seen me before braces Chat Icon

Hmmmmm - when I get home I'll check the model number or name. I'm really not sure which specific one it is. I got it at BB&B with a 20% off coupon and then it is easy to just buy replacement heads there whenever I'm shopping. I'll def check later which one and report back.

The doc I went to for whitening is Dr. Allan Mohr in Massapequa -- highly recommended. He offers a variety of different types of whitening. For me, I liked KOR the best. But yeeeeears ago I had done Night White and that worked well too, but KOR is more of a permanent solution. You just have to touch up from time to time -- like for a half hour once a year vs. having to get whitening all over again a few years down the road with other systems.

Re: Toothbrush

You're welcome!

And with the electric toothbrush -- you'll never go back!

The nice thing is that it lets you know when you are brushing too hard, applying too much pressure which many people do without realizing! Love that feature!

I would buy activated charcoal powder off amazon. It's black power. Brush with it and a drop of water every day for a week. Then 5 days a week, then 3 and then maintain 1-2x per week. It's black and will stain your sink so wash it up after. It will literally work as a magnet and pull off everything gross and clean stains. You Can also use it to make pills and it works for stomach poisoning, hang overs and stomach virus. Google it.

It's amazing and super safe. Can use pregnant or nursing. However if you take internally too much bc it acts like a sponge it soaks up the good and the bad.

Re: Toothbrush

I like the Oral B. I used Sonicare before, but my dentist really dislikes the Sonicare for some reason. I like them both, but the Oral B has more of a choice of different heads.
