POlar Express
Im thinking of taking my 4 year old and 18 month old on the POlar Express for the first time.. Which is your favorite one and why? Is 18 months too young?

I was looking for the riverhead one recently and just about every single thing is sold out. :(
The website says two and older.

We are heading to Saratoga. Got great reviews and wasn't sold out.

I think it may be too late now. All the good ones are probably sold out. We get our tickets in early September. But, to answer your question-we love the one in Essex, CT. We go every year, and there is no age limit.

Im in NH. North Conway does an amazinggg one. Were going again this year. But its 6 hours away from NYC. They do have some tix left though

Good luck trying to get tickets to any of them at this point. They all went on sale a while ago and most sold out within hours. I had no luck scoring tickets at all this year.

Exactly. They sold out most of the dates within hours We go to the one in Essex.
The one in Riverhead is NOT good at all. Not worth the $$ IMO

We went the first year they offered it, and had a great time! the price was not nearly as expensive as it is now though. I don't think that I would pay for it now. There is no difference in the trolley numbers. They are all the same

Ugh! That stinks! We have been lucky, and have always gotten the date that we want, but we go during the week. I know the tickets sell out so quickly. This is the only one we've done. I'd love to try a different one, but we love this one so much. We don't want to do something different, and maybe be disappointed.

Ugh, disappointed to hear this as we got tix this year for the riverhead one. We have been to the Essex one and I thought it was just ok personally.

We considered Riverhead but based on the price and poor reviews decided to pass. It's sad that these don't get better reviews, it seems like there's so much potential for them to be really fun for the kids.
