Tipping cleaning person
If you have someone clean your house, do you regularly tip them or just during the holidays? I've had various people cleaning, and a new group started today. She asked for a little more than she'll charge in the future b/c the other person wasn't thorough (which I gladly paid), but DH asked if I tipped her (which I didn't). I guess I figured that if I tipped on the first day it might be something they expect each time. I've never tipped cleaning people, except during the holidays, so I'm not sure why DH brought it up this time.

Tipping cleaning person
I don't tip. I give holiday bonuses. The first time people come though it's usually more bc they have more work to do with the initial clean.

I do not tip her regularly. I tipped her the first time and if she does something extra (one week she cleaned my patio furniture and one time she cleaned the inside of both fridges/freezers) so I tipped her then.
At the holidays I will give her an extra week pay.

We give extra for Christmas. That's it.

We tip 20% each time she comes. But we pay for the cleaning through a cleaning service and we aren't sure how much of it she sees.
