After dinner spot?
OK< so DH and I have settled on Sage Bistro in Bellmore for dinner tomorrow night. I'd really love to do something afterward instead of rushing back home. Now, don't get me wrong, I love a regular bar and pub just as much as the next person, but I really want something a little different, dare I say more upscale than that. Wine bar would be great. Is Salumi all it's cracked up to be? I also saw there's a new place Michaelangelo's in Mass as well, reviews are totally split on Yelp... honest thoughts?

Love Salumi but I see that more as a dinner place. Plus it's packed on Sat nights.
Maybe the bar at Vittorio's?

The vine bar merrick is nice. It's a wine bar. Small but nice. On merrick Ed I believe

How funny. I went to both Michaelangelo's AND Salumi last night. I LOVE Salumi but had wanted to try Michaelangelo's. I had a glass of wine and a meat/cheese board with friends. It was fine. Didn't feel like there was ac and there was an annoying fly bothering us lol. No comparison to Salumi though. We left and went there for more wine and some delicious tapas. I did hear the Vine was nice.
