Unexplained nausea?
You all are very kind. I go into MSK tomorrow morning for an endoscopy and biopsy, but we already know I have pancreatic cancer. This is just to confirm it before I see the oncologist on Friday. The whole situation seems unreal somehow, but it is happening. So odd to realize I have little time left. Been cleaning out drawers and closets, tossing and donating stuff. It's kind of nice to run across things I have forgotten.
My biggest problem is how to tell my family. My DH and I have agreed to wait until after Labor Day to tell our grown kids. DS has several exams he's taking between now and then and we don't want to upset him before them. So much to consider. I would love to run off to Disneyworld and pretend nothing interesting is going on in my life.
