WWYD - question about a group gift
Your child is on a team. At the end of the season, you ask parents for a collection to get coach a gift. Only half the parents contribute. You put in a little extra and get the gift. When its time to present it, how do you sign the card?
Do you sign it as being from the entire team? Or do you just put the names of kids who participated? I always wondered what class mothers did with teacher gifts when this happens.

I'd put the names of the ones who contributed to the gift.
The others either didn't get anything or got something on their own.

If it were just one or two kids that didn't contribute I'd sign it from the team however, if HALF the team didn't contribute I would sign the card from ONLY those who actually gave money towards the gift.
