WWYD? Engagement Gift Question
I'm headed to an Engagement Party and the invitation asks that in lieu of a gift, we donate to a charity. Should I donate a small amount and then give the couple a monetary gift - this is for a second cousin. Any input will be helpful - thank you!!!!

No. Dontate to the charity and give them a card saying so.
They dont want gifts. Give to the charity.

Agreed donate to charity and give a card that says what charity. I find it so frustrating when people purposefully do what people ask them NOT to do. There is a reason why they made this choice.
