Talk to me about please touch museum and crayola factory

Hey everyone

I'm thinking about taking the munchkins (1 year old and 5 year old) to please touch and crayola factory. Are these places even remotely close to each other? I'm assuming you would have to drive down and visit the place that's farther away first, spend the night, and do the place closer to home on the second day?

Any advice? Tips? Other recommendations
Thanks

We loved the please touch museum. The kids had a great time - so much to do there

No experience with Please Touch, but we just stayed at the Hampton Inn in Easton to do Crayola and it was very clean and the staff was super nice. The free breakfast was great and they have an indoor pool.

please touch is AMAZING for that age!!! we've been there 3 times with my son ( my parents lives about 40 minutes away)
you could do the NJ aquarium while you're in the area, too- its fun Chat Icon so is the Franklin Institute in philly.... ( but that might be better for slightly older kids...)
i haven't done the crayola factory yet though- but its on my list bc i've heard its a lot of fun!

1 may be a bit young for please touch (if 12 months). 2 is very good for there.

5 is awesome for please touch. DS had a blast. Be sure to go to the puppet show, it was an absolute highlight.

The aquarium in Camden was great too... But crazy crowded when we went.

We've been to both and enjoyed both especially please touch. Not sure I would do them in the same trip though. They're not really close together.

In Philly we also did the Academy of Natural Sciences and it was great.

you can do please touch and philly zoo in one trip. crayola is in northern PA, while PT is down in Philly. you could do one, stay over a night, then drive to the other, do it and come home though

That's what we are doing. We are going to Sesame Place for two days (we like to do one day of dry rides and one day of the wet rides), then one day at Please Touch, then going to a different hotel near Crayola and the last day going to Crayola and then head home.

We just did something similar. Left here, went to crayola. Drove to the hotel near sesame, did 2 days there. Left, drove to PT did that, left and drove home Chat Icon

we did Crayola with our son last august. He was 3. He had a lot of fun. I went crazy by the mayhem that is the Crayola factory. There were camps there, kids everywhere out of control, I just wanted to get out of there.

He especially like the painting with melted crayon wax on the top floor.
