Crayola/Please touch museum

Thinking of doing a 2 day trip in June with DD (will be 3 at the time).

How close are the Crayola Factory and the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia?

Would we be able to do 1 trip for the 2 of them and maybe stay somewhere in the middle?

Does anyone have accommodation suggestions?

We did DW last summer so we are looking for something else this year.

TIA!!!

Re: Crayola/Please touch museum

We're doing a 2 day trip next week to Crayola.
We were considering doing that (staying in the middle to do both) but we decided to just do one & try to find some little fun things to do the other day.
I hate having a long drive to get somewhere after we were just in the car to get there the day before, that's jut my opinion.
We've never been to either yet so have no real advice Chat Icon but hope it's fun!
We are so last minute, we didn't even book a hotel yet, better get on that!

Re: Crayola/Please touch museum

We just took our 2 yr old twins to the Please Touch Museum on our way to visit friends recently and they had a wonderful time! There is tons and tons of things to do, create, and see. My girls LOVED it and we spent about 4 hrs seeing and doing it all. They napped for nearly 3 hrs when we left.

The food in the cafe wasn't anything to write home about but we made do. I would suggest doing the water section last so your child isn't drenched for the rest of your stay.

Any other questions, just ask!

We didn't do Crayola because our kids were too young but we did Please Touch, which was awesome, and the Philadelphia Zoo, which was great as well Chat Icon

Thanks guys!
DD loves coloring with anything so I thought that the Crayola factory would be fun, but then was reading that it's not necessarily a trip itself, but more of a stop over.

All great suggestions! Thanks so much!!!
