Does anyone else clean up before.....
their cleaning person comes to clean?
We have someone who comes every 2 weeks for a deep clean. I find myself cleaning a bit the day before she comes. I just cleared off the coffee table and then wiped it down. I did the same with the tv stand...

I do that too... It seems to be worse the day before she comes over. It is amazing how fast stuff accumulates on flat surfaces!!!

My cleaning lady says not to do anything before she comes but she is only here for a certain amount of time. Id rather her do deep cleaning than organizing or putting stuff away.

yes, i pick up stuff like any clothes on the floor the dogs toys and little things like that.

I organize and put things away. I just need them to clean. Plus they don't know where everything is suppose to go, so its easier for me to do it.

I clean what I can, so she can get to stuff that takes more time & energy than I have. And I pick up stuff so she can get to the areas I neglect. It's a team.

I do too, but it is more like putting the kids toys away so she doesn't trip and fall, or making sure I made my bed.

I tidy up, not really "clean." I want her to be able to get as much surface area as possible! I always hated it when my mom made me tidy up as a kid but I totally get it now!

I just do a big straightening for her - if I don't put a lot of things away (even things that aren't really in her cleaning way) she reorganizes and spends less time cleaning.
And then I can't find anything.
