Sesame Place in the Rain
Anyone ever go in rain? Do the dry rides still operate? Any advice for me? Going this weekend in the rain...

im not sure but read up on their rainy day policy on their website. if it rains for more than 1 hour while you are in the park, they will issue you rainy day tickets for you to come back another day. we were supposed to go yesterday but didn't because the weather called for thunderstorms and of course it didn't rain!

When we were in Lancaster last week, our forecast was for clouds and rain the whole day.. It was sunny, hot, and humid...

this exactly! we were there last weekend too, the whole week leading up it said chance of rain and thunderstorms every day. meanwhile it was in the 90's, sunny and humid. it only rained for a half hour 1 night around 6pm while we were eating dinner. theres a good chance the forecast will change! we had gone to Dutch that day, and later on I wanted to run back into Dutch to get some souveniers I had forgotten to buy. At that time it was raining and the security guard said you are still allowed in the park but they cant operate any rides unless the storm is completely out of the area. they still had the shows going on, food places were open, and only bumper cars were open since its a covered ride. don't stress all week because that's what I did and the forecast was wrong anyway!

Sesame Place in the Rain
It was supposed to rain all day last week when we went and if ended up being hot and sunny. Hopefully it works out for you!

We were there on Saturday....Poured for like 10 minutes and they still let people on the rides. They said it has to rain for 1 hour non stop to close

We were there last year and it POURED. They cancelled the parade as everything. Rides still operated. We were drenched and we didn't even do water rides.

My advice would be to not believe a forecast that is more than a few days out.
They actually can't predict that far out, but the public demands it so they give sketchy fake forecasts.
If you notice, anything more than a few days out ALWAYS has some lower percent chance of rain. Whether or not it happens is another story.
