Oddly I don't really wonder who is behind the post. I do however wonder "is that person in LIF?" I was having a conversation with another preschool mom at a party once and something she said reminded me of an LIF thread. I immediately remembered hearing something similar on here and thought to myself "I wonder if she's on LIF"

Let me be the first person to put a disclaimer:
If y'all see me out at Starbucks on a Saturday morning at 8am -- which is usually where you will find me after I leave my boyfriend's house because I usually spend the night at his place on a Friday night and then go there Saturday morning on my way home -- I will NOT look like this.
In fact, you won't recognize me and you'll probably think I'm a lost extra from the set of Lord of the Rings.

But in a way that led me to believe she wasn't telling the truth..

whenever I sat in the waiting room at the reproductive Dr's office. I always wondered if some of any of the posters were in the waiting room too A few times I felt like yelling out "any LIF here"

Yes. More so for the posters that are harsh and confrontational. I wonder if that matches their real life personalities.
I also am curious to see what some of the posters on the C&E board look because they will even insult good looking celebs. They must all look like super models to be so critical

I actually never really thought about what anyone looks like before, but now I kind of do!
What's interesting to me is most posters on LIW posted pics there, but so few do on here (myself included). It's like we didn't care if anyone knew who we were when we were getting married but now we're all hiding

Same. Besides a handful of posters that I recognize from when I was pregnant, I rarely look at the names.
LIF was my source of information for all things baby related when I was pregnant and a first time mom.
I feel like most of the moms who were TTC and pregnant with me are no longer on LIF.

Mostly everyone is on my local FB moms group, and I've met in person through an organization I'm involved in in my town.
We've actually had conversations IRL about some posters on here.

Yup.
I always wonder about people who are okay with having so much out there tied to them.
I mean, work and potential jobs can Google you at anytime.
Last thing I would want is being looked at in a negative light for something silly said on this site.
