Favorite party favor for 4yr old
I like to try t o match it with the theme... so I did hula hoops for a rainbow carousel theme, tutus - cowboy hats for a dance party theme, Sport bottles with characters for a gymnastic theme (these were cheap useful and went over great- I filled them with candy but you can fill with sticker , tattoos etc), and most recently I did tiaras and wands, and inflatable sword and shields for a princess/knight theme.... Favors I have enjoyed or would enjoy my DD getting-- Books, Sticker/Coloring Books, Art & Craft Type Stuff, Pail/Shovel

I like personalized water bottles. Etsy has some great ones.

Re: Favorite party favor for 4yr old
Favorites of my kids have been: a mini lego set, a model airplane kit that they assemble and paint, and a mini gumball machine
We gave water bottles, a mini lego set and chocolate lollipops that I made.
I think those foam water shooters could be really cute if you personalize them with a sticker with each child's name or with a theme from the party.
I am not really a fan of candy favors because my kid just ate pizza, cookies, cake, etc at your party and the last thing I want them ripping into in the car on the way home is more sugar, lol.
