What lotion for a toddler with super dry skin?
I've been using aveeno and his skin still feels like sandpaper. He also has really bad dry patches on the tops of his hands and on his face (cheeks).
I put aquaphor on those spots at night.
What's a good lotion to use?

I use cetaphil cream, the one in the tub, not the lotion. DD has very sensitive, dry skin and this works great. Eucerin is good too, it's a lotion, but still pretty thick.

What lotion for a toddler with super dry skin?
I read that lotion won't do anything for that type of dry skin,only creams will. We went from aveeno at bath time to using cerave in the tub. It helps alot.

I use aquaphor or CeraVe baby. Dd has mild eczema and these two products are the best for her skin. I use the aquaphor when she is very dry and the CeraVe the rest of the time.

What lotion for a toddler with super dry skin?
My son has super dry/sensitive skin... Sometimes it feels extremely rough. The only thing that has been amazing for us is Jojoba oil (Now brand). Im also pregnant and used this for my first pregnancy/second and no stretch marks. Read the reviews on amazon, people swear by this stuff!
One that i carry in my purse is the Weleda Skin Food- this is also an amazing product i could never live without!

VaniCream in the tub with the pump. It's a notch better than Cerve. I also use coconut oill because I like the natural approach, but VaniCream works much better.

I know a lot of people don't like Johnson & Johnson, but the ONLY lotion that worked for DD was their creamy baby oil. Her feet used to be so dry and flaky and now they're just perfect.

Eucerian Intensive Repair. I've tried them all. My dd gets such dry skin and she was scratching until she made herself bleed sometimes. Since I started using that lotion her skin isn't dry anymore.
I started using it on myself and its really great.

DS has horrible eczema behind his knees (has since he was a few months old) and I now put a thin layer of hydrocortisone cream on it once a day, which helps but I hope it goes away soon because he is scratching it & sometimes it bleeds.
Otherwise his skin is very dry, like sandpaper it feels sometimes... I've tried all the brands mentioned here & haven't had much success with any, though I imagine his skin would be even more dry if I used nothing.

yep these two for her Eczema
I dab her dry after a bath (still moist) and give her a full body massage of aquaphor. I keep a small bottle of Cerave in my purse for 'as needed' times.

I have very, very dry & sensitive skin.
Derm said NO frequent baths/showers (this washes off natural oils).
I've also used A&D cream & regular vaseline.

I use Babo botanicals oatmeal lotion. DD has super dry, super sensitive skin and it keeps her from breaking out.

CeraVe is our go to...It was recommeded by our Ped Derm. and it works wonders on my DD. She has eczema and super dry flaky skin.
