Amber necklaces/bracelets
I'm not too sure how they work exactly, but I just ordered a bracelet for DD yesterday. I'm desperate for some relief as I'm sure she is as well. Hoping this works as well as most reviews says it does.

Amber necklaces/bracelets
A few people I know SWEAR by them. Never heard a bad thing about them. Each bead is tied individually so IF it breaks, all the beads don't come off. The amber soaks into the skin to relieve the pain for the child. I THINK the lighter the amber, the better off the relief.

I've tried them and they didn't do anything for my son. No decrease in drool, no noticeable relief. Advil and orajel work best for him.

Also the raw amber is recommended as well.
I have one for my son, he's been wearing it a solid year now. I swear by it. The first night he had it on he sttn for the first time in months. Does it relieve all pain from teething? No, I don't think so. There have been times I've had to give him teething tablets as well. But I think it totally takes the edge off, at least in his case.

Re: Amber necklaces/bracelets
I have purposely monitored him and his behavior when he has had the necklace on vs. off and there is a noticeable difference.
I am so thankful that I found out about it and bought it for him.

Amber necklaces/bracelets
They def work for dd. I had a bracelet on her starting at 3 months 24/7 except bath. Then when she was older, maybe a year, I started with a necklace. I take it off when she sleeps.
The lighter the stone, the stronger it's benefits. Dd wears butter. It has to be worn 24/7 except when bathing/swimming. I bought mine on hazelaid
The way it works is as their body temp rises it releases a resin into their system that ads as a natural pain reliever. Dd has cut so many teeth, including molars without a peep. She never drooled. Her temperament is very mild, which they say is an affect as well.

The closer to the source of the pain, the better. So a necklace is better. If you're comfortable with a necklace. I wasn't when dd was little. Now it's fine for us.

I swear by it. Adults can use for things like arthritis. The amber which is tree sap needs to stay warmed againt the skin and will naturally provide pain relief. Teething was a breeze for us. Yes there were nights I gave motrin and it's not magical but close to it and definitely helps. She wore it non stop. I only took it off for baths.

Re: Amber necklaces/bracelets
Caribou Baby is a shop in BKLYN that sells them. My DH works nearby so he buys them there. They also have a website to order.
My DS stopped drooling within hours of us putting it on him. He still has teething symptoms but not nearly as bad as when he's not wearing the necklace.
Our package says to remove at bath time & bedtime, so that's what we do.

This is where I purchased mine. I swear by them. Supposedly the lighter the better and raw is better than polished. We got the raw butter and raw lemon one. I used for DS and DD and I definitely think they provided much relief while teething.

Purchased mine from Inspired by Finn. DD has been wearing it since 2 months. I did wrap it like a bracelet at first but it kinda defeats the purpose since it needs to be near the source of the pain to be effective. It's been around her neck since she was 3 months and she's 10 months now. She still doesn't have any teeth but she rarely drools, if at all. We definitely notice a difference if she doesn't wear them... she wears 2 at a time.

I don't think it needs to be near the site of pain. I used to double wrap dd's neckoace around her ankle. Especially when she slept.

There is a shop in Williamsburg BKLYN-Caribou Baby. I haven't found anywhere on LI that sells them. They are about $25. You want genuine raw, Baltic Amber.

At what age or at what symptoms did you start with the bracelet/necklace?
