Skip sippy cups! A 2-4 year old should easily be able to drink from a regular cup.

We started using those stainless steel ones with characters on them that they sell at target. I don't know the brand off hand. But they seem to be ok. My 2 and 4 hear olds can drink from a regular cup but I only allow it when they are at the dinner table. During the day they are only allowed sippy cups.

Both my almost 2 year old and my almost 4 year old can drink just fine from a regular cup BUT they are young and spill them (my younger one will spill drinks just for fun). I do often give my older child a regular cup at meals and I can't tell you how much expensive organic milk has been accidentally spilled all over the floor/table/herself because kids are clumsy. This is why we use sippy cups.
I like the take n toss sippys and straw cups but they will leak if the kid is determined on making a mess. If I REALLY don't want any leaking I use the Tommee Tippee straw cups. My youngest loves to shake the liquid out of sippys and try to soak himself for kicks and these make it impossible.

Costco had a set of kids water bottles like a reusable you would use. Can't think of the brand. They are great. They don't leak. I would go to target and get a reusable one. They are bigger and better.

Try the Thermos funtainers. I LOVE mine. I haven't had an issue with leaks unless my daughter purposely turns it upside down and shakes it to make water come out LOL
My friends and I all use them and swear by them.

mine leak because I take the valve out. the are too slow for my 3YO. we are transition to normal cups now. He only uses normal cups at school so i know he is able to.

Re: I hate sippy cups!!!!!
I use the super cheap take&toss brand of sippy cups & I've never had a leak & the tops have never popped off even carrying it in my diaper bag. So far so good.

Have you been putting them in the dishwasher? I feel like the heat screws them up. I feel that was about Tupperware too
At that age though i also used a straw or regular cup

We've always used the Playtex straw cups and they rarely leak. My boys are almost 5 and just 3 and both have been using a regular cup for a while when we are sitting down at the table eating. But they both still use the Playtex cups if they want a drink while they are playing.

Re: I hate sippy cups!!!!!
Straw cups or just a plastic cup. we've been practicing with a regular cup with a little water for awhile. Shes just over two and holds it well and doesn't spill too much unless she runs around lol

Ahhh. Makes sense. Now that kids are 4 & almost 3, I have glass water bottles when they are participating in sports. They are $$$ but haven't had them leak.
We don't give kids drinks anywhere but in kitchen or dining rooms. When we are out, they usually wait til a meal, or if hot, we give them a plastic water bottle (they can both drink from the opening), or a cup (I'd carry a small one in my purse in the summer and pour water or milk), If they would play with it, I'd take it away. That stopped the spills.
I hated sippy cups: they were hard to drink through. DS actually said his was "broken", we tried another brand and then just quit them. Mine all leaked too.

The first years! They don't have any extra parts, and they really don't leak! The leaking drove me insane, until I found these.
