Question
After we BD, most times DH's "stuff" leaks out of me. I am so sorry this question is kind of gross, but I need to ask someone. Does this have to do with my CM? I've tried laying there for a while, but it usually doesn't stay. Could you still get preggo when it leaks out? I'm sure some found their way

Re: Question
I know this is going to sound mad gross but someone suggested that I use a tampon to try to keep it up there (like a cork ). Guess it worked!
Good luck!

Re: Question
We have the same issue. According to my research, more than enough gets to the right places, but there's always some "left over" in the area.
I find that certain positions lend themselves to less leakage.
Doggie style seems to be the best for us.
Man, would DH kill me if he read this post!!

Re: Question
I just try to lay there for a long time and then when I get up nothign comes out. Dont know where it goes! Most of the time we BD right before we go to sleep so I just stay laying in bed.
I wouldnt use a tampon...you arent supposed to use one if you dont have AF because you can get an infection and tear yourself, inside.

Re: Question
there was a post on this a while back, someone asked their doctor and they said it was fine. Try laying with your legs raised for 15-20 minutes just to help the sperm swim to where they have to and even if some comes out when you get up it doesn't matter.

Re: Question
It's gross, I know, but I used to have the same problem (well, still do... ha ha ha). Within a minute, with DH, and only DH (bizarre, huh?), it would feel like everything would just leak out... but, I got pregnant (twice) so I don't think it poses a problem at all... and, like someone said, there are positions that lend themselves to less "leakage" (i.e. doggy style)

Re: Question
same problem here, but I dont think I can get my feet over my head.
I have heard from other people ( who asked their MD) and it was normal and shouldnt be a problem.

Oh my, the things we talk about!!
But yes, I agree with everything said about .. we have a 'leakage' problem too BUT I have read many things on the topic and I can say that from whatever I've read, there is definitely enough sperm that will find its way up there when it wants to

Re: Question
We had the same problem. I would put a pillow under my butt to raise my hips up on an angle so it wouldn't leak too much....don't use a good pillow.

Excellent advice!!
I used my pillow the first time and I had to throw it away. Afterwards I was like "I can never put my face on this again!!"
So I have a PBDP - Post-Baby-Dance-Pillow.

Re: Question
My dr once said, "Don't worry about the boys who leak out, the obviously did not come out of the starting gate with a lot of gusto so they wouldn't have been able to make the journey anyway" That thought always makes me feel a bit better.

Re: Question
Gosh where else could we talk so freely about leakage. When I was TTC with my first child, one time (I dont think it was the month I got PG). I actually hung myself over the side of the bed, "standing" on my head for about 10 minutes. I haven't tried it this time, but now that you reminded me....

Re: Question
I know some people will not like the idea, but the month I DID get pg I put in a tampon after BDing to keep everything in place. Now I have read enough to know it probably didn't make a difference but.....
