swim lessons
I am interested in signing DD up for swim lessons. We just got back from vacation and she loved the pool and was kicking and putting her face in and was having a good time. I thought it might be good to do swim lessons now while she is interested and familiar with the water. She is 14 months. What age did you start swim lessons? Where might be a good place to go near Ronkonkoma? I've heard the Y is good and mixed opinions for saf-t-swim. What is pricing like? Thanks so much!

Re: swim lessons
Sounds like she would love it!! The Y is great for younger swimmers. Once she hits 3 I would check out the swimming lessons offered by your town... I can't remember, but I think Ronkonkoma is either TO Brookhaven or TO Smiththtown. I used to do Town of Brookhaven lessons and they were fantastic and extremely reasonable! My DD started lessons at 8 months at the Y and she had a great time!

swim lessons
Just started my son who is 5m at saf t swim...its more for him to get used to the water. The instructors tend to be young so I dont know if that is the right place to actually learn. They do offer discounts on packages which are reasonable.
