Destination wedding cost?
How much have you been asked to spend for a destination wedding for your and your spouse?

DH's brother got married in Turks and Caicos and we went for 2 nights only. We spent about $1700 on the airfare and the resort.
Way overpriced IMO (This was Beaches, and I felt it was SOOOO overpriced and the food their SUCKED so bad and I am not picky. )

$5k. Leaving tonight. Next year we have one that is costing us $3k. I hate destination weddings.

We just got back from my brothers in mexico. We stayed a week
2 adults/2 kids under 4
Airfare $1300
Hotel $2800
We were all in wedding so there were additional costs

WOW!! At our's we worked out a deal with the resort and found the cheaper air flights for people. I think most who came down for our destination wedding spent maybe $1,000-$1,500 for 4-5 days for 2 including air fare. Most people made a mini vacay out of it.
But then again it was 8 years ago but I can't imagine the prices went up that much!

Thanks all! We are planning on 5 days, which is $1800, plus airfare. I am in the BP, DH is not. Not bringing the baby though. All inclusive, so I think it sounds like a good price. This is also in Mexico.

Destination wedding cost?
I spent around $3k for all three of us but to be fair.. I got my tickets pretty late in the game. We stayed a week in Maui. Didn't pay for the condo, paid for food here and there.

i'm going to Dreams All Inclusive in Cabo next November. for 4 nights its $780 pp plus airfare which will be about $550 pp. so we're assuming about $2700 for 2 people.

DH and I were just in one in April on the Disney Cruise. Between the airfaire, night before in a hotel, and the cruise it was about 3k. Add excursions, dress, tux, and all that other happy horse cr*p and we were well over 4k.

Destination wedding cost?
A friend of mine is planning on a destination wedding in Bermuda. I've been looking at airfare and from what I see, it's going to cost around $3000 for DH and I for air and hotel.

Dh brother got married in at Lucia 2 years ago. It was a little over 3k with airfare and hotel we stayed 3 days. We looked at it as not just a wedding but a vacation.

Book airfare asap we got ours at about $450 but people booked later and were paying &700+ a ticket they dont go down

Ok, then $2800 for a couple is not bad at all. I would get the pricing for people for 3 nights, 5 nights and 7 nights and let them figure out what will work best.
