Question looking for opinions...
So I posted a while ago that DS was biting and what not...
After talking to the director and his teacher we made a plan that in august we would move him to another room with kids closer to his age - he will be 20 months on the 19th.
I am getting cold feed about the move... am I making a mistake?
His current classmates are 22 - 26 months old...

So they are going to put him with younger kids than he's with now?
Unless his biting issue is with just one kid, I don't think it will change anything. It's very common for that age. My first DS wasn't a biter but, my second one was. I know how frustrating it can be!

Yes younger than him or same age. So when we talked about it the older kids he's currently with are talking more - doing more sentances...
hes talking but hes just not there yet and I think the biting is directly correlated to his frustration and not being able to express himself as they can - ya know... I dont know maybe this is a bad move

older kids are better for my DS. He acts better when he is challenged and when with younger kids he wants to act up more and be more immature... not right word, but can't think of a better one.

I agree. I find my DS tends to act out more when with kids younger/smaller than him. For some reason if he is with older/bigger kids, he is much more well behaved. That being said, all kids are different and it may be worth it to give it a shot in the new room.
