Show/concert for 2 yr old?

Any recommendations on something that would keep a 2 yr olds interest long enough? I just received an email about Disney princesses on ice, but not sure if this would be a good match... dd would be about 2.5 by then...

thanks!

My ds loved Elmo live but hate the Disney pirate and princess. He was just over 2 for both.

I took DD to Sesame Street live when she was 1.5 and 2.5 and she loved it both times. We are going again this year as well.

The first time DD was sorta familiar with them. They are cute shows and probably a good first one to go to even if they only know Elmo.

We are not a big sesame watcher but he sort of knew some characters. We watch Disney all the time and he still didn't like it.

Re: Show/concert for 2 yr old?

It totally depends on the kid. My DD was 1.5 when we brought her to Disney on Ice last year. She was mildly interested, but she also ended up being sick, so her enthusiasm wasn't great. She knows and can name every princess, so she will probably love it this year if we go. I'm not buying tickets until I see how she does with the shows at Disney World in a few weeks. I think it's totally appropriate for the age, but depends on your child's interest.

I took my dd to see fresh beat band when she was 20 months old. She loved it so much! I have a video of her reaction when they came out and her face is priceless! I watched it the other day and got emotional lol

Re: Show/concert for 2 yr old?

Sesame Street is a good first show. I also took my DS to seep ratels to Yo a Gabba Gabba. My older DS was about 2.5 and loved YGG, the younger one, even though we had much better seats, didn't like it that much. I took them both to seeFresh Beat Band when they were 3 and 6. My younger one loved it, the older one felt he was too old for it. I will continue to take my younger DS who is 4.5 now to kids shows, but my older DS gets broadway now.

If your DC likes sesame street, I would go to Sesame Place and watch a show there.

At that age, my children loved Yo Gabba Gabba live and The Wiggles...they were not big Sesame Street Live fans.
